  • Newsify is a concept for a conservative news AI platform designed to deliver personalized, bias-conscious news content. Before development, the team needed a landing page to test audience interest and gather early feedback. The project called for clear communication, strategic visual design, and a trustworthy user experience, especially given the skepticism around AI in politically conservative communities.

  • The goal was to design a landing page that could build interest, establish credibility, and collect email signups for future outreach. The intended audience was conservative news readers, who tend to be wary of AI tools, particularly in the political space. The design had to clearly communicate value while avoiding the overly sleek, impersonal tone often associated with mainstream tech platforms. It needed to feel both professional and grounded, offering just enough personality to spark curiosity without undermining trust.

  • The landing page was structured to guide users quickly through the core concept of Newsify, using clean layout hierarchy, conversational copy, and deliberate visual restraint. The UI paired a grayscale palette and Helvetica-based type system with subtle color flares on CTA buttons, creating a modern look that remained accessible and sincere.

Special emphasis was placed on user trust, avoiding any technical jargon, leading with human benefits, and reinforcing the product’s purpose as a tool for information. To add approachability and energy to text-heavy content, a set of hand-drawn emojis were developed as visual accents throughout promotional materials.

  • Led creative direction and UX design for the project, including landing page wireframes, copywriting, layout design, color and typography systems, and all supporting marketing assets. Created hand-drawn emoji elements to support promotional content and bring levity to the brand voice.

  • The landing page was used to educate users and drive email signups for early access and future survey outreach. Supporting assets included social media graphics and banner ads directing traffic to the site. Though the project was eventually paused, the work demonstrates a complete web design workflow from audience-centered strategy to execution, tailored to a nuanced user base.
